For visitors from Europe or other areas with similar climate, the May to September period is probably the best time to visit, since temperatures are cooler and drier on the average. 2.The threat of a tropical downpour is also less during this period. From May to October, the Seychelles enjoys cool dry weather, but with dramatic overcast skies and turbulent seas. 2.From December to March, the weather is hot and rainy but with calm seas. 3.The average temperature is 29 degrees centigrade and the humidity is about 75%. Currency: Seychelles Rupee Things to carry: 1.As the temperatures are constant through out the year light clothing should be adequate. 2.You should not require a jacket or sweater except for the air journey and for when you get home. 3.The tropical sun is very strong and therefore it is advisable to wear sun cream even on an overcast day; sunglasses and a hat will also help protect you. 4.Most restaurants and hotels require that trousers be worn during the evening. 5.Gentlemen must wear trousers after 7pm to enter casinos – shorts and Bermudas are not allowed. 6.
