Romania and Rumania is a country located at the intersection of Central and Southeastern Europe, bordering on the Black Sea.Romania shares a border with Hungary and Serbia to the west, Ukraine and Moldova to the northeast and east, and Bulgaria to the south. Climate:

  1. Romania has temperate climate. The northern Carpathians in general are much cooler than the lower regions, such as Moldavia, Walachia, and Dobruja.
  2. The mountains are snowbound from December to April and are cool through the year.
  3. In the low-lying areas i.e. the plains and the coastal region, summers are warm and wet.

  6. The winter persists from November to March here. 

The warmest period is between June and August.

Things to carry:

  1. If you plan on skiing in the winter, take along heavy woollens.
  2. If you’re visiting the coast in the summer, take along your beachwear, suntan lotion, sunscreen, and cool cottons.
  3. If you plan to stay away from the mountains and concentrate on the city of Bucharest, and are going like most tourists in the summer months, take along a light sweater besides your skirts and trousers, shirts and blouses.
  4. Take along an umbrella or raincoat irrespective of which place you’re traveling to, irrespective too of the season.
