The SEP provided an unique window of welcoming a new culture in our homes while at the same time introducing our children to learn to accept, appreciate and respect diversity. A truly memorable and enriching experience for all.
What could not be achieved by many frequently travelling professionals abroad could be achieved by this Students Exchange program through young travellers we call students - blending of cultures, global villages what we talked about in past as our wish - our kids have started living that! It was an learning and enriching experience for all students as well as the host parents, made me realize that language barriers and cultural differences cannot be hinderances for meaningful connections. The student exchange programme is strongly recommended as it has helped my child make friends with strangers in an environment that is outside his comfort zone. I am sure that his visit to France will further help him strengthen these bonds, give him first hand exposure to a culture that is so different from ours and in the process help him take a step towards becoming a global citizen.
